Do not go to this school for online courses. They have phone numbers but insist on you sending an email that they will respond to after 1 or 2 weeks. The websites and programs they use are extremely difficult to navigate, and you are left in the dust if you need any help. Google would be of better assistance than talking to someone from this school.

Gallaudet University is a beautiful, outstanding, cultured giant of innovation. I cannot say enough good things about it. It is located on FL avenue in DC. It is 144miles from central va. There is on campus housing, and off campus options. The school has a vast history and a bright future. Absolutely amazing.

Surprising find in DC. Clean and welcoming. Unfortunately my toilet tank ran all night and leaf blowers on campus woke me up before 8:00am. Had no idea that there was a National Deaf Life museum in DC that is on campus as well.

Great campus and even better institution for the deaf/hard of hearing. I visited the campus after taking a class in ASL because I was just very interested and wanted to explore the famous university itself! They use American Sign Language as their first language. Gallaudet University is truly a safe and open space for the deaf/hard of hearing. It's also located in a great spot and many people living in DC actually know how to sign!
