A nice place for kids to be entertained for 2-3 hours; it has a beg exhibit, astronomy section, dinosaur section, science center, and aquarium area in the basement. If you’re in the area it’s worth a visit.

Awesome exhibits, and the kids' planetarium show was really neat. Tickets weren't too expensive. My kids had a blast.

The building is smaller than the science center we have near us, but it is packed with some fun exhibits & tons of hands-on activities. My kids are a pre-teen & a teenager, but they both enjoyed it just as much as they would have if they were younger. My husband & I also enjoyed what the center had to offer, plus it was neat we were all able to hold one of the beetles they allowed you to touch. The bug & shark exhibits were our favorite, the bottom floor had a bunch of puzzles, fossils & minerals. The next time we are in the area & they have a new featured exhibit we would stop by again.

Had a chance to spend a lovely afternoon at this science center, which is packed with interactive exhibits for the kids and alike.

There is a great emphasis on space exploration, due to the University's involvement in this field, but also ample other fields highlighted. I would have missed the downstairs interactive space had I not heard others talking about it, so it is also worth checking out.

The planetarium is an old-school fun experience, although I found that the Tucson Skies talk was a little general in nature, but that is probably to cater various audiences.

I had a bit of a mixed bag with customer service. People are super nice, but running special groups along paying customers creates an atmosphere where a full-fare ticket payer may not be valued. But, that's part of the modern running of sights like this.

Recommend! Can easily spend two hours here out of the summer heat having a fun interactive and educational experience! Get to hold and pet sea creatures and watch an amazing graphical live show in the theatre! My 5 year old couldn’t make it through the entire 45 minute show though but it is worth it no doubt for a family outting to visit here for sure! And the gift shops even affordable unlike other places! There’s two stories with stairs or elevator options and many places to sit as well! We are going back for sure!

We went for half priced Sunday and still spent almost $60 for 2 adults and 2 kids. We quickly learned that we came way too early. We went right at 10am when they opened. Definitely dont buy tickets early. They are only half price if you buy in person. The touch tank(if you can call it that) doesn't start until 11:30am and the kids were bored well before then. The employee kept yelling at my son when he put his hands in the water even though I was right there to correct him. She made it feel very unwelcoming. They have a few bug activities and a few fish to look at. Then the shows are spaced out 11am, 1230pm, 3pm. Etc. But each show is a separate admission fee from the exhibit. The 1230pm show was pretty decent. The graphics were super lame but the kids were entertained and happy after being bored for 2 hours. Parking is free on weekends so that was a plus. Definitely don't think we would plan to go back with the kids anytime soon. There just isn't enough to keep them entertained for the cost.
